The Program
A program of encounters between material and creation.
Atelier Mogno Bahia® is the permanent curatorial program of Genome
Wood Group. A meeting place for creators, material and process. Each
project grows out of the collaboration between invited authors and the
exploration of Mogno Bahia®'s possibilities as a new cultivated noble
timber.
Each work becomes part of an editorial archive in the making — author
profiles, behind-the-scenes, creative processes, technical sheets and essays
on material, material culture and authorship.

Mogno Bahia® was born of a choice: to cultivate rather than extract. The
Atelier documents this wood’s encounter with authors, workshops and
creative processes — places where material meets gesture, form and
language.
Each piece is part of a living archive in the making. It is not a catalog. It is
not a showcase.
It is material culture under construction.
